Reasoning: The muslims have shown a disdain for antiquities proven by the destruction of the statue in Afganistan some years ago. The fear here is that some jerk muslim cleric will decide that all the Egyptiona artifacts are against Islaam and therefore should be destroyed. Don't laugh - not only is is possible, it is mostly probable. The best thing to do is leave the best artifacts spread around the world in various museums.
