Where: The Lydia & Manfred Gorvy Lecture TheatreCONFERENCE: The recent destruction and loss of cultural heritage in Syria and Iraq is a cause for world-wide concern and condemnation. But what is the role of museums? Can we support people from these countries, whilst ensuring our own protection?
This one day international conference will gather experts from around the world to explore past cases, discover the truth about recent tragedies and hopefully create a better understanding of what can to be done to assist.Tuesday 14 April 2015, 10.30 – 17.30
